A strike by air traffic controllers is expected to affect flights throughout France, on December 10, 2019. Currently, Air France is planning to operate 100% of its flight schedule on December 10 and have not proactively cancelled any flights. Minor flight disruptions are also possible on December 11 as airlines recover from the strike. Several groups including rail workers, air traffic controllers, public transport workers and public sector workers are amongst those that may continue to take part in the strike. Travelers should expect delays or cancellations across the country’s transport systems which could last longer if the strike occurs as announced. Customers are advised to check the status of their service(s) prior to departure.
