In light of the outbreak of novel coronavirus in Wuhan, China, we are monitoring the situation closely and will continue to provide information and assistance to travelers.
On February 6, the Chinese officials introduced a new quarantine policy in Wuhan to restrict all transportation in/out of the city.
Airlines continue to suspend their services to/from mainland China and some are now including Hong Kong and Macau.
Several airlines have issued flex policies for travel, where they will waive cancel fees for customers originally traveling between the specified dates subject to terms and conditions. To see further information regarding potential impacts to your trip, check the airline flex policy or flight status.
If your flight is not cancelled, or your dates or airports are not yet covered by a flex policy, then we suggest you continue to check the airline website for further updates. Any changes or cancellations you choose to make without an airline flex policy, will be subject to normal fare rules and restrictions.
We highly recommend travelers everywhere follow health and safety information from health officials and local authorities. We recommend the World Health Organization website for up-to-date information.
