Winter Storm Pearl will bring blizzard conditions spreading across portions of Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska and South Dakota, due to strong winds and a heavy rate of snow.
The snow will last into Thursday night in parts of the upper Midwest before ending Friday.
The National Weather Service has issued blizzard warnings for parts of southeastern Wyoming, western Nebraska and northeastern Colorado, including Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Winter storm warnings and winter weather advisories are in effect in other areas, from parts of Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota and northwestern Iowa, into portions of South Dakota, Nebraska, southeastern Wyoming, Colorado, northwestern Kansas, Utah and New Mexico.
