Winter Storm Kade is bringing snow and sleet to parts of the Great Lakes into northern New England.

Thunderstorms and heavy rain, which are associated with the storm, will stretch from the central Gulf Coast into the Mid-Atlantic through the end of the week.

Snow is currently moving through parts of northwestern Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Illinois.

Winter storm warnings and winter weather advisories have been issued by the National Weather Service from the mid-Mississippi Valley to northern New England.

Flood warnings are in effect from southern Mississippi to New Jersey.

Flight delays and cancellations are expect at airports serving – Chicago (ORD, MDW), Indianapolis (IND), Detroit (DTW), Charlotte (CLT), Atlanta (ATL), and Toronto (YYZ).

Travelers are advised to check the status of their flight(s).
