Winter Weather in the Southeast

Travel to, from or through the Mid-Atlantic and the Southeast United States may be impacted by winter weather on Thursday, February 19 through Friday, February 20.

The US National Weather Service (NWS) issued a winter weather warning for the Appalachians and Mid-Atlantic regions, including Washington, DC, Baltimore (Maryland), and Philadelphia (Pennsylvania) for Thursday, February 20.

The warnings are in effect from portions of western North Carolina to central Pennsylvania; however, areas as far north as New York City (New York) and Connecticut may be affected. Most snow is expected to fall in the morning before transitioning to mixed precipitation.

Flight disruptions at regional airports, including, but not limited to, those serving Baltimore (BWI), Charlotte (CLT), Raleigh (RDU), and Wilmington (ILM).
Customers are advised to check the status of their flight(s).
