Iran is experiencing sustained community spread of the novel coronavirus according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention CDC. The organization is advising international travelers to practice enhanced health precautions.

Several airlines have issued flexible travel policies for Iran, where they will waive cancel fees for customers originally traveling between the specified dates, subject to terms and conditions. As conditions change or new developments occur, the flexible travel polices may be further modified by the airline.

To see further information regarding potential impacts to your trip, travelers are encouraged to check with their operating airline for the latest flight status and flexible travel policies. If your flight is not cancelled, or your dates or airports are not yet covered by a flexible travel policy, then we suggest you continue to check the airline website for further updates. Any changes or cancellations you choose to make without an airline flexible travel policy, will be subject to normal fare rules and restrictions.

Those traveling internationally, should reconfirm government entry requirements prior to departure.
