Winter Storm Kade is forecast to bring snow, sleet and rain from parts of the Plains into the Upper Midwest as well as the Northeast US and southeastern Canada from Jan 22-26. Starting Thursday, snow, ice and gusty winds will be affecting areas in the Midwest and the Great Lakes, while a wintry mix is expected across the central Plains through the Ohio Valley and into the mid-Atlantic into early Saturday. The National Weather Service is maintaining winter weather advisories for parts of the Central Plains and Mid-Mississippi Valley. Flight delays and cancellations are expected at airports servicing but not limited to Boston (BOS), Chicago (ORD), Detroit (DTW), Minneapolis (MSP), New York (JFK, LGA, EWR), St. Louis (STL) and Washington DC (IAD, DCA, BWI) as the storm moves across the nation.
